Built with kindness, competence and good grace.
Built around one simple idea: the right support should help everyone preserve the relationships and memories that matter. We provide the practical help, companionship and advocacy that can otherwise fall entirely to family. By sharing that responsibility, we help families spend less time being the administrator, organiser or sole carer, and more time simply being a daughter, son, partner, friend or grandchild.
How we came to be
Good Grace Companion began with a simple observation: getting older shouldn't mean becoming less of yourself. We watched people we loved reach a stage of life where the world seemed increasingly determined to make decisions for them. Yet they were still the same people who had careers, raised families, travelled, argued, laughed, collected things, went dancing, visited galleries, enjoyed good food and knew precisely how they liked their tea. Sometimes what they needed wasn't care. They needed another pair of capable hands. Someone to tackle the paperwork, make the awkward phone call, accompany them to an appointment, challenge something that wasn't right, organise an outing, or simply turn up with enough time to enjoy the afternoon.
That's why Good Grace Companion exists. We provide practical support, advocacy, companionship and dementia lifestyle services without reducing somebody to their age, diagnosis or circumstances. Because a full life doesn't suddenly acquire an expiry date. Ageing isn't beige. Neither are we.
We wanted to create something different: companionship, advocacy and practical support built around the person, not the service. Helping people stay independent, make their own choices and keep doing the things that make life theirs. Not a medical service. Not a traditional care agency. Just thoughtful, capable support, delivered with warmth, good judgement and a very human touch. We work with private clients, families and care homes
